Bathing Beauty(1944) VHS
In her first leading role for MGM, Esther Williams swims her way to stardom as an aquatic instructor at a girls' school who is wooed by songwriter Red Skelton. Breezy musical comedy also stars Basil Rathbone, Harry James and Xavier Cugat and their orchestras. Songs include "Tico-Tico," "I Cried for You," "Bim, Bam, Boom." 101 min.

Easy To Wed(1946) VHS
The screwball favorite "Libeled Lady" received a musical revamping from MGM, with Esther Williams playing the socialite who sues newspaperman Van Johnson after a less-than-flattering article is run about her. Lucille Ball and Keenan Wynn also star; songs include "Come Closer to Me," "Continental Polka" and (no kidding!) "It Shouldn't Happen to a Duck." 111 min.

This Time For Keeps(1947) VHS
Splashy Esther Williams tuner with the gal in the bathing suit as the star of Mackinac Island's "Aquacaper" show and longed for by the singing son of an opera star. Jupiter's Darling(1955) VHS
History is set to music, MGM-style, with Esther Williams in a waterproof toga as Amytis, who tries to stop Hannibal (Howard Keel) before he makes the trek through the Alps to take Rome.
