John Travolta plays a divorced father who discovers that his 11-year-old son's new stepfather (Vince Vaughn) has just committed a murder. The only witness to the crime is his son who unfortunately has already established a reputation as being the boy who cried wolf. The boy has lied to just about everybody in town, including the authorities but never to his father.
"Domestic Disturbance" features a good cast who put in sound performances, Vince Vaughn is chilling as the stepfather, Steve Buscemi is creepy as the new man in town & John Travolta is superb as the understanding father who will do anything to protect his child. "Domestic Disturbance" is a straightforward old-fashioned thriller, suspenseful, well paced & has enough thrills to keep you entertained for the 90 minute running time.
