"A Knight's Tale" is the first medieval adventure to feature a Rock "n" Roll soundtrack & to treat the art of jousting as a spectator sport. The film stars Australia's new Mel Gibson, Heath Ledger. He plays the role of William, a young squire who assumes the identity of his master, when he dies unexpectedly. Breathtaking jousting sequences, possibly the best ever shown on film, feature in this action-packed, old-fashioned adventure yarn. Romance & humor also add to the fun as Heath tries to woo noblewoman Jocelyn, played by newcomer Shannyn Sossamon. Made on a budget of $41 million the film grossed over $56 million at the US box office. "A Knight's Tale" is definately a must-see & in future years could become a cult favourite.
