Mike Myers is "Austin Powers International Man of Mystery" in this secret agent spoof of the James Bond / Matt Helm / Derek Flint films of the 1960's. Mike Myers is not only the hero but also the villain of the film in his dual roles of Austin Powers & his nemesis Dr. Evil.

The film begins in the swinging 60's, the decade of free love & hippies. When mad villain Dr. Evil freezes himself to escape capture, British super spy Austin "Danger" Powers agrees to be cryogenically frozen so he can continue his pursuit of Dr. Evil into the future. When both are thawed out in the 90's the chase begins & so do the laughs as we are treated to a hilarious fish out of water scenario. Dr Evil holds the world to ransom for $1 million dollars, sorry $1 trillion dollars, where in the 90's now. While Austin Powers uses all his prowess including his 60's social attitudes to woo the women & capture the villain.
