* Elisabeth Shue made her feature film debut with a small role opposite Sarah Jessica Parker in the family drama, "Somewhere Tomorrow" (1983).

* In 1984 Elisabeth was given her big break playing Ralph Macchio's love interest in the hugely popular teen flick "The Karate Kid".

* Also in 1984, Elisabeth starred in the TV pilot "Call To Glory" & the follow-up TV series.
