FOOTLOOSE
"Footloose" is an energetic dance musical that was the surprise hit of 1984. The plot centres around a mid-western town that condems Rock "n" Roll music & dancing. Kevin Bacon plays the new boy in town who has a hard time coming to terms with the strict bans. John Lithgow plays the town minister & influential authority figure. His rebellious daughter Lori Singer falls in love with the new boy Kevin Bacon.

The film has a splendid soundtrack & opens with a dynamic credit sequence featuring the hit title track "Footloose", played over a variety of different dancing feet. Another memorable music number is played over scenes of Kevin Bacon teaching a young Christopher Penn how to dance to the fantastic beat of the Deniece Williams hit "Let's Hear It For The Boy".
