When his kid brother is killed in a street race, champion dragster Jeff vows to quit racing forever. A bigheaded newcomer with his eye set on Jeff's title tries to force him to race again. Jeff isn't tempted by his boasts and taunts, but the challenger goes too far when he steals Jeff's girl, and the insult results in a final showdown pitting hot rod against hot rod. Starring Chuck Connors (TV's "Rifleman") as the cop trying to end illegal racing, "Hot-Rod Girl" also features Lori Nelson ("The Day the World Ended," "Revenge of the Creature") and an early appearance by Frank Gorshin.

A small town community is turned upside down by illegal drag racing and out-of-control youngsters in this 1956 black and white "beat" generation classic.
