NANCY SINATRA at HOLLYWOOD TEEN MOVIES

* Nancy made her television debut in 1959 appearing with her father & Elvis Presley.

* In 1960 Nancy married singer/actor Tommy Sands.

* Nancy's first two feature film appearances came in 1964 with the comedies "Get Yourself a College Girl" (aka The Swinging Set) with Mary Ann Mobley and "For Those Who Think Young" (1964) with James Darren of "Gidget" fame.

* In 1965 Nancy Sintra appeared opposite her father & Rat Pack crooner Dean Martin in the comedy "Marriage on the Rocks". Coincidently it was in the same year that Nancy's marriage to Tommy Sands ended.

* During the 1960's Nancy made numerous guest appearances on TV show such as "The Virginian", "Burke's Law", "The Man from U.N.C.L.E." & "Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In".

* In 1966 Nancy joined the band wagon of "Beach Party" movies when she appeared with Disney's Tommy Kirk & Gidget's Deborah Walley in the teen flick "The Ghost In The Invisible Bikini".

* Also in 1966 Nancy's singing career began to blossom with the number one US chart topper "These Boots Are Made For Walking", the song that would become her signature tune. Other hit songs followed including the duet "Somethin' Stupid", which she performed with her father Frank.

* Before "Easy Rider" set a new standard for biker flicks, Nancy Sinatra joined Peter Fonda in the low-budget Roger Corman production of "The Wild Angels" (1966).

* At the height of the James Bond craze Nancy starred with 60's comedy duo Marty Allen & Steve Rossi in the spy spoof "The Last of the Secret Agents?" (1966).

* In 1967 Nancy was the star of the critically acclaimed TV special "Movin' With Nancy". Special guest stars on the show included her father, brother, Sammy Davis Jr. and Dean Martin.

* Nancy sung the title song for the 1967 Bond flick "You Only Live Twice". The song would go on to become one of her most requested at concert performances.

* In 1968 Nancy starred opposite the king of rock 'n' roll, Elvis Presley in the highly anticipated hot-rod musical "Speedway". Nancy even got to perform her own solo number "Your Groovy Self".

* Singer/Songwriter Lee Hazlewood wrote many of Nancy's songs and on occasion performed duets with her, most notably the ballad "Summer Wine".

* During the 1970's & 1980's Nancy took a break from feature films preferring instead to concentrate on her music while making occasional concert and TV appearances.

* In 1995 Nancy Sinatra made a career comeback with a "Playboy" pictorial and a number of concert appearances.

* In 2001 Nancy & Frank's hit "Somethin' Stupid" was re-recorded by Robbie Williams and Nicole Kidman.

* In the new millennium Nancy's music has proven to be still so popular that many of her early albums have now been reissued on CD.
