The Musketeer [DVD](2001) DVD
Dumas' timeless tale gets a nifty, Asian-influenced revamping thanks to Hong Kong fight choreographer Xin-Xin Xong ("Once Upon a Time in China") and director Peter Hyams ("Timecop"). In 17th-century Paris, young swordsman D'Artagnan (Justin Chambers) battles the evil Febre (Tim Roth), who murdered Chambers' parents and keeps Queen Anne of France (Catherine Deneuve) and her lady-in-waiting (Mena Suvari) imprisoned. Stephen Rea also stars as the wicked Cardinal Richelieu. 105 min. Widescreen (Enhanced); Soundtrack: Dolby 5.1 Surround, DTS 5.1 Surround; production notes; theatrical trailer; DVD-ROM content.
