"Zorro" DVD Synopsis:
A newly arrived governor finds his province under the control of the corrupt Colonel Huerta. To avoid assassination by Huerta, he pretends to be weak and indecisive so Huerta will believe he poses no threat. But secretly he masquerades as Zorro, and joins the monk Francisco and the beautiful aristocrat Hortensia in their fight for justice against Huerta and his soldiers.

"Zorro" starring legendary French superstar and heartthrob Alain Delon is one of the most unique Zorro adaptations you are ever likely to see. Shifting the location from California to South America gives this film a new look and feel, while Delon's stylish portrayal of the masked rider is considered by many to be the ultimate. This Zorro also features a catchy theme tune called "Zorro Is Back", composed by Italian musicians Guido and Maurizio De Angelis, better known as "Oliver Onions". Fans of the Terence Hill & Bud Spencer comedies should know them, as they are the team responsible for the music in many of their films. The fight sequences are staged with energy and excitement while the finale features one of the longest sword duels ever put on the screen. The duel starts on ground level and ends up on rooftops. "El Zorro" is certainly back and with Alain Delon in the saddle and an Oliver Onions theme song, how can you go wrong!
