James Bond & the secret agent genre was at its peak when "Our Man Flint" hit the scene in 1965. James Coburn is at his best as secret agent Derek Flint. He is cool, slick, dangerous, a martial arts master & above all an unstoppable ladies man. "Our Man Flint" is the first of two Derek Flint spy spoofs, the sequel "In Like Flint" was released in 1967 & was equally as popular.

In this story the villains have devised a way of controlling the world's weather & their objective is to use this in their bid for world domination. The world's most sophisticated computers are called upon to determine which secret agent has the necessary skills to succeed in such a dangerous mission. All the computers point to one man the super-cool, super-slick, Derek Flint, an electronics expert & martial arts master who can talk to dolphins.

Once a student of Bruce Lee, James Coburn is able to put his martial arts skills to good use & for that his character Derek Flint became the first movie secret agent to use Kung Fu as a weapon when disposing of his enemies. "Our Man Flint" shows James Coburn at the peak of his career & his role as Derek Flint, the world's greatest secret agent is what he is best remembered for. "Our Man Flint" is entertainment plus for all fans of the secret agent genre.
