Frankie and Annette hit the beach once again in the first sequel to the original "Beach Party". This time round, gym owner, Don Rickles & his muscle men try to take over the beach. Musical guests include a very young Stevie Wonder & Dick Dale & the Del Tones. Italian actress & future Bond chick (Thunderball) Luciana Paluzzi, has her eyes on Frankie. Annette has her hands full trying to keep up with the competition. The film features a cavalcade of world famous muscle men including Larry Scott (Mr. Olympia 1965, 1966), Gene Shuey (Mr. America 1960) & Chet Yorton (Mr. America 1966). Also, look out for sword & sandal star Peter Lupus (aka Rock Stevens) in a small but memorable role as Flex Martian. Lupus later went on to star in TV's "Mission Impossible". "Muscle Beach Party" is a fun filled entry in the long running series.
