"Gidget Goes To Rome" is the third & last of the James Darren "Gidget" Trilogy. First there was Sandra Dee, then Deborah Walley & now Cindy Carol, in her film debut as Gidget, everybody's favourite beach Girl. This time round Gidget leaves California's sandy beaches & heads to the romantic & scenic city of Rome. The film makes good use of Rome's famous landmarks & James Darren once again lends his fine singing voice to the film's soundtrack. "Gidget Goes To Rome" is an enjoyable romantic teen flick that "Gidget" lovers will not want to miss.
