"Duel Of The Titans" (released in Europe as "Romolo e Remo") is the classic peplum that boasted two of the world's most popular musclemen in the one epic movie, Steve "Hercules" Reeves & Gordon "Tarzan" Scott. Fresh from his success in Hollywood Tarzan productions, Scott joined Reeves in this one to make his peplum debut. For Director Sergio Corbucci, "Duel Of The Titans" marked his first entry in the peplum genre. Sergio would later go on to direct, "Goliath And The Vampires" (1961) with Gordon Scott, "The Slave" (1963) with Steve Reeves & numerous spaghetti westerns such as "Django" (1966) & "The Mercenary" (1970) with Franco Nero & a few Terence Hill & Bud Spencer action comedies, most notably, "Odds And Evens" (1978) & "Who Finds A Friend Finds A Treasure" (1981). Unfortunately "Duel Of The Titans" is currently unavailable on VHS or DVD.
